08:54:47 <V453000> or that the thing creates too many copy-things
08:56:14 <planetmaker> I meant that it didn't remove the old builds. And thus pushed the last 5 builds (all again)

21:22:34 <planetmaker> so the difference between using .nmlcache and not using it is about 1:20h for yeti :)
21:30:03 <frosch123> btw. we need to install mingw inside wine :p
21:30:10 <frosch123> any idea how to do that?
21:49:21 <planetmaker> uh... well, there's also a mingw-gcc for debian as cross-compiler package
21:50:42 <planetmaker> https://paste.openttdcoop.org/pcrctawfw/4am5j2/raw
21:51:09 <planetmaker> maybe that could be utilized better and faster than a full gcc install inside wine?
21:52:15 <frosch123> as i understood it, cxfreeze would use mingw, if available
21:53:23 <planetmaker> oh?
21:54:26 <frosch123> https://github.com/numpy/numpy/blob/master/doc/HOWTO_RELEASE.rst.txt#wine <- i was looking at that, they actually describe how to install mingw
21:54:27 <Webster> Title: numpy/HOWTO_RELEASE.rst.txt at master · numpy/numpy · GitHub (at github.com)
21:54:31 <planetmaker> then that might indeed be better...
21:54:53 <frosch123> planetmaker: currently the compile farm only builds a linux64 binary
21:55:15 <frosch123> all docs i have found that the python stuff always only builds for the native platform, and that one should use wine and thingas
21:55:45 <frosch123> technically we actually only have a x64 linux binary
21:56:01 <frosch123> but i think that osx / linux would compile themself anyway, so wine is likely most interesting
21:57:15 <frosch123> https://code.google.com/p/iocbio/wiki/BuildWindowsInstallersOnLinux <- same thing
21:57:16 <Webster> Title: BuildWindowsInstallersOnLinux - iocbio - Howto build windows installers on Linux. - IOCBio - open-source software from the Laboratory of Systems Biology - Google Project Hosting (at code.google.com)
21:57:21 <planetmaker> yes, there's only an x64 binary for nmlc. And the windows one. Other OS so far have to use the source distribution
21:59:07 <planetmaker> however my approach was to install wine locally in a VM which runs an identical OS to jenkins (debian wheezy). Then install things we need wine to execute (as one needs a GUI for most). And then I copied the .wine dir over to the VM
22:00:55 <planetmaker> wheezy x64 to be precise
22:03:39 <planetmaker> or actually I did that not in a VM but on my system :P
22:11:33 <planetmaker> I can provide a tar.xz tomorrow. But not before midnight anymore today, I fear. Might be biggish :)
22:11:57 <planetmaker> hm... 550M
22:12:05 <frosch123> :p
22:12:51 <planetmaker> it looks like won't have terribly much time this week for toying around with anything myself. Pretty busy time right now at work

22:22:33 <planetmaker> frosch123, are you interested in scp-ing that 230MB file from the server?
22:22:41 <frosch123> tomorrow :)
