10:35:15  <nielsm> I see two major technical obstacles, first that currently companies are either "human controlled" or "ai controlled" (or uncontrolled or not existing), but there isn't a mechanism for having both a script and one or more humans in a company. second is that there is no provision for showing/storing "plans" for modifications to the landscape.
10:36:02  <nielsm> there's also the question how it would interact with multiplayer, if it would even be available there, if it would run on server, or if it would be an entirely client-side thing
10:37:09  <nielsm> and if it's entirely client-side then multiplayer servers might want a way to limit or prevent its use (probably not actually possible) since using AI assistance could be considered cheating
10:40:16  <nielsm> as to whether it's useful or desirable at all, I don't know, it's not something I can see myself using, to me the point of the game is the details of the construction as much as it's the strategic planning, removing or reducing the network construction detail would make it a completely different game

15:24:51  <nielsm> AlexZus: to a degree it is possible already, you can make a Game Script that can take some input for coordinates or whatever, and then build some or all of a route, impersonating the player too even
